Plein Air at Pier 57 (Summer 2023)

On Saturday, July 15, I invited artists to the tent-covered rooftop of Pier 57 to paint the nearly 360 degree views of the surrounding cityscape. After a solid morning’s work, we moved indoors into the Daffodil classroom at the pier, where each of us shared our experiences (and the challenges) of capturing the views.

This was my second annual outdoor painting event, and I look forward to planning another one next year!
