Cherry Blossoms on Cabrini, American Flag

Every spring, we see this great Cherry Blossom tree just across the street come to life. Recently I stopped underneath and looked up and saw the American flag and the adjacent apartment building framed beautifully by the flowers.

I like to capture simple, fleeting scenes like this, where angles and curves and composition come together only within the radius of a few inches. Step just a bit in any direction, and it's gone. Just a few days later, the tree was barren again. 

Original Painting (17" x 22") is still available. Ships flat and unframed, and will be packaged carefully in protective cardboard for safe delivery.

Limited edition fine art prints (11"x14") include a white border and are printed on 100% cotton paper, featuring a distinct textured surface (310 gsm; Acid, OBA, and Lignin Free). Each print is numbered and signed, limited to 50 editions.

All other sizes feature acid-free, 100% cotton rag paper with a bright white, smooth surface.
