I enjoyed the light hitting the recently restored steps leading to Linden Terrace in Fort Tryon Park, Manhattan. This is a favorite spot of mine, and for many others here in this part of New York City.

Original Painting (20"x24" framed) is available.

Limited edition fine art prints (11"x14") include a white border and are printed on 100% cotton paper, featuring a distinct textured surface (310 gsm; Acid, OBA, and Lignin Free). Each print is numbered and signed, limited to 50 editions.

All other sizes feature acid-free, 100% cotton rag paper with a bright white, smooth surface.

    Linden Terrace - Beautiful!

    The Linden Terrace is one of my favorite areas in Fort Tryon Park. Francis captures the beauty and serenity of winter here with the bare trees and pale blue sky. In the words of Stephen Sondheim - describing trees, "Bare as coat racks, spread like broken umbrellas". Thank you for this beautiful painting!

    Reminiscing old neighborhood

    I would walk my dog up these steps every day - morning and afternoon- for many years. I recently moved to Southern Delaware, so this is a wonderful memory for me. Thank you for painting this wonderful scene.
