Ocean Terrace, Office Building, San Diego, California

This is a contemporary office building in Solana Beach, California where I was on vacation recently. It is on the way to the beach and if you have to work NEAR the beach, it seems it would offer some great views at least. The painting challenge that attracted me to this scene was the flat planes, both structural and color-wise, and how to convey the ever-shining San Diego sunlight on those surfaces. I mostly stayed away from any exposed white surfaces, choosing to use a light red instead for the brightest spots. So after looking it up, I see that it is called "Ocean Terrace", located at 201 Lomas Sante Fe Drive.

Limited edition fine art prints (11"x14") include a white border and are printed on 100% cotton paper, featuring a distinct textured surface (310 gsm; Acid, OBA, and Lignin Free). Each print is numbered and signed, limited to 50 editions.

All other sizes feature acid-free, 100% cotton rag paper with a bright white, smooth surface.
