Snow Covered Bench Painting, Hawk, Fort Tryon Park, Watercolor Print, Memorial (Fort Tryon Bench)

This is a piece commissioned by a local resident of Washington Heights. This scene shows a bench at the flagpole in Fort Tryon Park near Linden Terrace and it comes with a special story. My client’s mother dedicated this bench to her beloved husband, who passed away in February 2020. Every time they visit it, a red-tailed hawk flies overhead. The client provided the reference photo and I was honored to help capture the scene and the significance it has for this family. Please stop by, sit and enjoy the view from this bench.

Limited edition fine art prints (8”x10”) include a white border and are printed on 100% cotton paper, featuring a distinct textured surface (310 gsm; Acid, OBA, and Lignin Free). Each print is numbered and signed, limited to 50 editions.

All other sizes feature acid-free, 100% cotton rag paper with a bright white, smooth surface.
