Note: leave the Quantity at “1” to book for one person. You will have a chance to pick multiple days on the next screen. Increase the Quantity to book for 2 or more persons. 

Semi-private watercolor painting instruction by Francis Hsueh, held in cozy coffee shop after hours every Wednesday (except the 3rd week of each month meets on Thursday).

Commit to 3 or more sessions to receive discounted price:

  • 3 sessions= $140 (instead of $165)
  • 4 sessions= $187 (instead of $220)
  • More than 4 = same bundled rate per session = $46.75

Payment upfront is due before your first class.

Discounted total will NOT show up at time of registration, so please disregard the price at signup. 

Students will develop skills to:

a) Draw and paint a scene based on a reference photo; and
b) Draw and paint a still life object.

Throughout the sessions, Francis will give demos and pointers on:

- translating an image from photo and life to paper
- handling paper and water
- composition
- painting and brush techniques
- color decisions

Two session commitment is encouraged.

    Fantastic Experience!

    I thoroughly enjoyed my class with Frances! The lead up was very helpful, he provides specific guidance on what materials to buy, and the class itself was thoughtful and engaging! Highly recommend.

    A really helpful class with a great teacher!

    I attended my first watercolor class with Francis last week and enjoyed it very much. I am a complete beginner, but I feel as though I've already learned important information thanks to tips from a patient and knowledgeable teacher. His work is really inspiring, too! I will definitely be back for more watercolor classes with Francis.

    Excellent Class

    I had a wonderful time attending Francis's watercolors course! Francis is a great and patient artist and teacher and I really appreciated the way he shared techniques and instruction while giving us the freedom pursue whatever projects we wanted. The small, intimate class size meant plenty of individualized support as well as opportunities to get to know and learn from classmates. Highly recommend!

    wonderful class!

    I've thoroughly enjoyed my classes with Francis. I'm brand-new to watercolor, and this is just what I needed. What a great excuse to relax for a couple of hours, uninterrupted by the real world. Thanks, Francis, I'll be back soon and hopefully will bring my son too!

    This class was informative and fun

    Francis was very kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. The class of 6 was friendly, supportive, and fun! I look forward to continuing this workshop!
